it’s been a very busy month for me and it therefore took me a while to post a new blog (sorry for keeping you waiting). I’ve been working on a new vocal trance song “Wish I wasn’t me” (not finished yet) and two remixes for a contest from US Latin/Pop artist PATjE, of his song La Quiero.
Where to find my remixes of La Quiero
Unfortunately I couldn’t put these remixes on my website here, but you can listen to them on Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/PATjE/238278397253?v=app_167457326616226
And on the remix competition website:
http://www.worldremixcontest.com/participants/158
You will find me under my real name Doenja Clerkx (!!!), in stead of my artist name. This is one of the problems I had while uploading. The other problem is that my club mix got placed first. You need to press the second play button for the radio edit, which doesn’t start with 32 bars of drums, like the club mix.
I can use some help!
In case you want to help me: you can vote for my remixes on both of those pages (thanks in advance for that!). Voting closes in two days: Sunday January 16th at 11.00 AM CET or 05.00 AM US Eastern time, or check http://www.worldremixcontest.com/information and choose Lifecycle to see how much time is left to vote.
I’m currently second, so I could use some help! The winner is chosen by the jury and by the votes, and PATjE will release that remix.
Other news: sample of “Losing you” used in a new song
Pesticide, a dubstep producer from the UK, created a song with a sample from “Losing you”. Here’s the soundcloud widget for it:
Pesticide-Searching for you by pesticide
Well, that’s it for this post. I’ve got a new song and several collaborations, including a remix for a Californian indie rock band, to work on!
Best,
Doenja a.k.a. The Entranced

The time schedule for the contest has been changed: voting is still possible for four more days, and the winners are announced in five days…
